They were divided two groups. The nurses working day time, the nurses working night shift work. They were evaluated with Pittsburg Sleep Quality Index(PSQI).For the data evaluation data percentages, Mann-Whitney U test, Spearman's Correlation Analysis were used. Results Nurses working day time were 27,nurses working night shift work were 25.The mean of working time for nurses working night shift work was 9,5±6,59 years, for nurses working at day time was 18,7±8,37.The mean age were 35,44±8,07,the age range were 22-50 years. For all the nurses the average of total PSQI score was 7,11±3,23.The nurses night shift work average total PSQI score was 8,28±3,04,nurses working day time the average total PSQI score was 6,03±3,06 (p<0.05).For nurses working at night the mean age, working time were less than the nurses working during the day (p›0.05).The comparison among groups for total PSQI score was(p<0.05).When evaluated all the nurses; there was significant negative correlation among age and total PSQI score (p<0.05).There wasn't any correlation among total PSQI score, age and working years for the nurses working at night shift. There wasn't any correlation for total PSQI score and working year for the nurses working during the day .Conclusion According to PSQI, poor sleep quality observed among nurses working at night. This is considered to be associated with age. This work has to be performed with the number more people. It is considered there is need further studies.
