PREDICTION EQUATIONS FOR MAXIMAL RESPIRATORY PRESSURES IN INDIAN ADULTS

PURPOSE: The measurement of maximal respiratory pressures (PImax & PEmax) is now possible for most pulmonary function laboratories. These are direct tests that are simple to perform to assess the aggregate force or pressure that respiratory muscles can generate against an occlusion at the mouth.
