The topics covered included diagnostic strategies in patients admitted to the Intensive Care unit (ICU) with acute respiratory failure, with a focus on patients with interstitial lung disease and for obvious reasons, SARS-CoV2 infection. These sessions are summarized in this paper, with take-home messages highlighted.FootnotesThis manuscript has recently been accepted for publication in the ERJ Open Research.
