The multivariable analyses were adjusted for sex, age, body mass index, smoking status, alcohol intake, socioeconomic status and HbA1c. AHI: apnoea–hypopnoea index; ODI: oxygen desaturation index; tsat90%: percentage of night-time spent with oxygen saturation <90%.
