During follow-up in the cohort of patients where those who presented with multiple risk factors for HFpEF, atrial fibrillation and/or age >75 years at diagnosis had been excluded, there were 53 events in the 3-year follow-up group, 36 in the 4-year follow-up group and 25 in the 5-year follow-up group. ns: not significant. #: only patients with full coverage of the variables are included in the multivariate analyses.
